Private Culinary ClassesBenefits:
At Good Life Culinary, we believe that cooking should be fun and relaxing. Learning how to prepare delicious and healthful meals in the company of your friends or family is a wonderful way to foster healthy habits, create confident cooks and promote social bonding or team-building among your group.
All of our classes are tailored specifically to the students' needs. Classes may have as few as one participant or as many as you would like. Our experienced chefs will help you create a customized menu that has your group's tastes and health interests in mind. We offer traditional, vegetarian and vegan menus, as well as lactose-free, gluten-free and low-glycemic alternatives to most items.
In addition to teaching culinary techniques, we also offer instruction in nutrition and ethical eating, including information on how your culinary choices may affect your own health, your community, the environment and other people around the world. You may select class lesson topics with accompanying menu based on your groups' interests. From a culinary trip around the world to an exploration of the seasonal, local food that Indiana has to offer, we will find the perfect menu and the perfect theme for your culinary class.
Combine food and fun with a small cooking lesson or demonstration in your bridal shower. Book your wedding reception with us and receive a discount on a cooking class for your bridal shower!
We can accommodate most schedules: afternoon, after work and weekend times are available. Most classes run about two hours, but shorter or longer classes may also be arranged. We ask that you provide us with 48 hours' notice to re-schedule any booked class.
Space and Equipment:
While nearly any space will do for a culinary class, you should have enough table or countertop space for each student to have his/her own cutting board. We can usually provide any equipment that you are lacking, even if your class space is just a level space outdoors with tables. We will provide you with a detailed list of all necessary equipment.
